How your pickup information is used
We collect only the information needed to review, schedule, communicate about, and complete a pickup. This includes your contact information, pickup address, item details, selected availability, notes, and submitted photos.
AI-assisted photo review
We use an OpenAI service to help review submitted photos and pickup details. It provides an internal recommendation only; a person decides whether to approve, decline, or request more information. Submitted photos and relevant pickup details may be transmitted securely to OpenAI for this review. We do not intentionally include your name, email address, phone number, or street address in route-advice prompts.
Mapping and route planning
Your pickup address may be processed through Google Maps services to confirm the service area, calculate travel, and organize routes. Route advice sent to OpenAI uses reduced location information such as city and ZIP-code prefix rather than customer names or street addresses.
Email and hosting providers
Request confirmations and scheduling messages may be delivered through Resend. Site data and uploaded photos are stored using the hosting and storage services supporting this website.
Human decisions
AI recommendations are internal decision-support tools. They do not automatically approve or decline a pickup, move a scheduled customer, or send a route-change offer. A person reviews those actions.
Retention and requests
Submitted photos are scheduled for deletion after 30 days when a request is declined or cancelled, and after 90 days when a pickup is marked completed. We may delete photos sooner when they are no longer needed. Other request information is retained as needed to handle the request, maintain scheduling and action records, troubleshoot delivery, and operate the service. To ask about, correct, or request deletion of your information, contact signalrepricer@gmail.com. Some records may be retained when reasonably necessary for security, legal, or operational purposes.
Business transparency
Santa Rosa Book & Media Pickup is operated by SignalPricer LLC. We are not a charity and do not provide tax-deductible donation receipts. Accepted items may be resold, reused, donated, recycled, or otherwise sorted based on condition.
Effective July 10, 2026. This notice may be updated as the service or its providers change.
